This story is adapted from Marvel’s Star Wars (2015) comic series, Issue #5 and #6 written by Jason Aaron, where Luke Skywalker returns to Tatooine and Ben Kenobi’s old home, unknowingly drawing the attention of Boba Fett, who has been tracking him across the galaxy.

After Luke narrowly escapes, Boba Fett reports back to Darth Vader — revealing the name Skywalker. In that moment, Vader realizes the truth about the Rebel pilot who destroyed the Death Star.

This video recreates that iconic moment from the comics in a cinematic short film style, exploring the chilling moment when Vader discovers the existence of his son.
