The result is that write speeds are terrible. It does not seem to effect the read speeds. Here I replaced the battery and showed some speed tests before and after the replacement. Unfortunately this seems to be design defect in this server where the battery continues to go dead too often. It would be nice if it had a battery that was rechargeable and connected to the power during operation.
